Disconnect the solar panel and unplug the 12 VDC supply before beginning work.

Attach the large circular flange to the unloading-side vent using both mounting bolts. Install the fan against the internal fan mount using all four fasteners. Tighten the hardware evenly and do not overtighten or distort the enclosure.

Install the cord grip, DC backup-power jack, maintained selector switch and capillary thermostat in their corresponding preformed openings.

Before reinstalling the solar panel, apply a thin, continuous bead of silicone sealant between the panel and enclosure flange—only enough to help limit moisture ingress. Install the four solar-panel screws evenly without squeezing out all the sealant.

This listing is for the replacement enclosure only. The fan, solar panel, thermostat, selector switch, DC power jack, cord grip, fuse assembly, wiring and mounting hardware are not included unless specifically identified as part of the selected package.

Retain reusable hardware when removing the existing enclosure. Confirm the mounting-hole pattern and component configuration before ordering for an earlier or modified system.

Apply a thin, continuous bead of silicone sealant between the solar panel and enclosure flange during installation. Use only enough sealant to help limit moisture ingress.

The 12 VDC backup supply should be connected only when additional aeration is required and available sunlight is insufficient. Move the maintained selector to SOLAR, OFF or ADAPTER as appropriate.
